As the largest education provider in our community, we strive to be the go-to choice for families in our area. We know that parents and students have a variety of education options, so our goal is to provide every Rowan-Salisbury student with the resources they need to thrive.

Whether a family decides to come to one of our district schools—be it our neighborhood schools or one of our academies—or to pursue another option in the area, we’re committed to working with them throughout their child’s education.

Since we believe in personalizing the education experience for all students, we have multiple ways students can participate in Rowan-Salisbury Schools.

Through #RSSEngage365, we offer opportunities for students in Rowan County to design an educational experience to meet their individual goals, needs and interests. Students have the opportunity to enroll in online and/or face-to-face courses with options to engage in a variety of school-based activities.
Rowan County Early College Program
In addition to academies, we also offer students the ability to earn their high school diploma AND a college associate degree in only four years of high school. Our Rowan County Early College program has had a 100 percent graduation rate, three years in a row!
Customized Education Plans
No matter what a student’s goals are and what education option fits them best, we’ll work with their family to create a customized plan that works for them, so that every child gets an extraordinary education, every day.
